Guildwar New Reset - Oct 11 2026

Post by Aegon » Aug 16th 2026 02:23

Guildwar will restart at Aug 18 2026 00:00 UTC
Armageddon scheduled at Oct 10 2026 00:00 UTC

Changes from previous set

Guildwar has been updated to version 2026.2. This is the largest guildwar update in years. The full list of improvements and fixes can be found below.

New Features:
  • Hero Training and Skill Training are now enabled. The Training Ground is directly on the audience page. These features allow you to spend additional time training your skills or heroes.
  • Loadouts: save your current army composition as a named loadout from the Summon, Disband, or Stack Calculator pages. Select a loadout and set a target NP to see a comparison table showing what you have vs. what you need. On the Disband page, the Auto-disband button calculates exactly how many units to disband to match your target composition. Loadouts can also be loaded directly into the Battle Simulator and even shared with friends.
  • Hover over unit, spell, item, skill, hero and building names throughout the game to see detailed stat cards. Spell tooltips show personalized values based on your color, off-color and opposite spells display what you'll actually get, not the on-color maximum. Summon spells show how many units you'd get at your current spell level. Tooltips can be disabled in options.
  • You can now save up to 50 pre-written arrows and easily select them from the war page when attacking. These arrows are saved to your account and not wiped when the server resets.
  • Casting costs are now estimated before you confirm a spell, and cast warnings show even when the estimate panel is collapsed.
  • You can now toggle off unit summoning from your own enchantments on the Dispel page. Applies to Love and Peace, Nature's Favor, Battle Chant, and Black Sabbath. Black Sabbath's mana bonus is still gained even when summoning is suppressed. Blood Ritual cannot be suppressed (you accepted the consequences!)
  • When Armageddon ends, the new Demolished Terra page shows how the set played out: the final rankings, the Hall of Immortality, and server records most land taken, most battles fought and won, biggest single win, longest win streak, most mage and hero kills, largest kingdom, most powerful army, and your biggest rivals. The full History of Terra opens alongside it, letting you search every battle and chronicle entry from the set.
  • Most pages will redirect you to the page you took an action on, with the cast result in a banner at the top of the screen, rather than forcing you to a dedicated results page. This should enable you to more quickly navigate the game and take additional actions.
Improvements:
  • Added a navigation bar to the top of most pages to jump between related pages without returning to the main menu.
  • Summon Locust Swarm gives accuracy penalty to all target's units. The effect is on-colour only and 3% at normal verdant SL.
  • War page has been redesigned; in addition to viewing your own counters, you can now see your guild's counters, as well as targets in your range, with a "Load more" button and a card view for mobile browsers.
  • The War page will now show you at a glance how close you are to D or when you will exit D.
  • The Siege/Pillage/Regular page now shows the status of the mage you are attacking, and when selecting stacks will show you live if they would be commanded by a hero.
  • The stack calculator and battle simulator have been redesigned. The stack calculator shows which heroes boost each unit, with buttons to send your stack straight to the simulator. The battle simulator has collapsible enchantment sections by color and one-click import for your current army setup. Pressing back after a battle keeps your setup intact.
  • You can now drag and drop unit stacks on the Disband page to reorder them; disband amounts auto-calculate to match the new ordering.
  • All unit, spell, item and hero dropdowns across the game are now searchable; type to filter instead of scrolling.
  • Chronicle Terra will now allow you to filter battles, spells and items, in addition to searching for multiple IDs or guilds.
  • Renuntio History has been renamed Renuntio Archiva, with better pagination, message search, and category filters.
  • Recruit page has been reworked. Click + to add a unit to your recruitment queue. Fixed recruits an exact number of units, then stops. Maintain keeps your army at a target count or a percentage of your army: if you lose units in battle, recruitment resumes automatically next turn.
  • The skill and research pages have been redesigned, and skills and hero abilities now show their exact effect at your current rank or level.
  • Active enchantments on the Cast Spell page show their current effect on your kingdom, and the Cast Spells and Skills pages have a toggle to display the effects of currently active skills and spells.
  • Locate Artifact now warns you before casting when there is nothing to find, and explains itself when a cast comes up empty.
  • Your own preorders no longer buy items you put up for sale yourself.
  • The preorder page has been consolidated into a single form, and you can now set a preorder for "Any unknown spell".
  • When bidding on the market, commas will now appear as you enter your bids, making it easier to realize when you just bidded 1,000,000,000 instead of 100,000,000.
  • The Use Item page now lists all rechargeable uniques with their cooldown status at the top.
  • Effects from items, enchantments, and hostile spells that were previously hidden are now visible in the status report.
  • Upkeep crash notifications now show exactly what was lost instead of a generic message.
  • Added a confirmation checkbox before assigning units, and a "Don't ask again" selector to the Dispel, Assign and Disband pages that lets you keep this bypassed.
  • Stats page has been reworked to be easier to read. Many additional stats have been added allowing you to see your biggest rivals, filter out scouts from attack stats, track kills, and track war participation.
  • The Cemetery will now reveal the name of a mage's killer.
  • When a hero dies, you will now receive an in-game message from one of your advisors letting you know and linking the battle in which it occurred.
  • The Assassinate link is now viewable even when the Assassin is out on a mission, and will show you details such as when they were sent.
  • The main menu now shows how many turns the server has generated this set, and how many you've missed.
  • The top status bar now shows a + if you are positive income on a resource, and a - if negative.
  • Mana charging and taxing pages now give you an estimate of your current charge/tax income.
  • Warnings now show before a turn runs your gold, mana or food dry.
  • The build page now summarizes population and food.
  • Added a button to the rank screen to hide targets you have recently attacked.
  • If you have not used enough turns to donate to the gods, there will be a message warning you that the altar is closed, and the priests now recommend a minimum donation for a chance at favor.
Bug Fixes:
  • Reviving with a Phoenix Pendant no longer leaves a mage permanently unattackable.
  • Reviving with a Phoenix Pendant now returns the mana you were holding, up to what your nodes can store.
  • The Phoenix Pendant death screen said the opposite of what happened, and now matches the outcome.
  • Priestess self-resurrection now works when she is killed by assassins.
  • Hero abilities no longer work before the hero reaches the ability's unlock level.
  • The Assassin's skill bonus now counts toward mission success.
  • Fixed black market bids occasionally disappearing into thin air, and assassins who forgot how to come home.
  • Gold from being outbid on the black market is now always returned.
  • The same unique item can no longer be up for auction twice at once.
  • Flying stacks are no longer left out of a defence in favour of weaker ground stack.
  • Fixed the attack button sometimes allowing accidental double attacks (did NOT fix people still blaming it for their own mistakes)
  • Fixed a bug where players could hold Most Favored status with multiple gods at the same time.
  • Fixed Invigorate not granting its initiative bonus to secondary attacks.
  • Destroy Artifact now destroys the correct number of items.
  • Scrying the same mage again now reports the real number of heroes.
  • Battle report links no longer point to reports you cannot open.
  • The disband plus and minus buttons now work on a box you have already typed in.
  • Tooltips have been corrected for the following spells/items: Miracle, Enlarge Animal, Gaze of Death, Capsule Monster
  • Removed the custom skinning system; invalid CSS could prevent the game from loading with no way to fix it.
  • Greatly enhanced server stability, fixing many security vulnerabilities, bugs etc.
