Arch Server will restart at Sat Apr 12 12:00:00 2014.
Armageddon is scheduled to begin at Sat Jun 14 20:00:00 2014.
Changes from previous set
Changes:
- Mages can now join guilds until the 6th seal breaks
- AI mages are now explicitly identified on the arena page (ghost icon)
- AI mages now partly emulate research and will have stacks becoming progressively more complex with time
- AI mage barriers changed:
- Barriers will no longer always be full
- Barriers will generally start at zero and increase over time as mages bar up
- Gaussian randomness introduced at all levels
- AI mages will now have greater variation (Gaussian) in forts, and generally have fewer
- AI mages will no longer keep playing after the end of Armageddon
- Preorder code reworked, no changes to the actual mechanic
- Bugfix: Deck of Many Things now resets its card count when sold
- Bugfix: Not possible to have multiple assassins out on missions

Change list posted. Sorry for the somewhat late notice. As a result of the same, some AI will be on higher than expected barriers for the next several hours, after which it will regulate itself to the new model of low start-of-set bars.
Please note that the research emulation only affects units at this point, and that the AI will still have access to all spells from the start of the set. This is expected to change for next set.
The new preorder code should be considered somewhat experimental. Where possible please pay extra attention and as always, report any bugs in the General Bugs section of the forums.
