Our portal and forum now have two new styles (one bright, one dark)
to allow easier browsing using mobile devices.

When a mobile browser is detected, the appropriate style is selected.
Players can override the automatic style choice, by altering the URL.

Hi all.

During the last 12 months we have seen an increasing number request to our portal and forum from mobile phones and handheld devices increase rapidly. we have browsers from Sony Ericsson, Nokia, LG, Samsung and more ..

We have now started working on making it easier for you to get access to the TR community via your mobile phones and handheld devices. What we have done this far is to add a detection system that will detect what browser you are using when you connect to the TR Portal (http://www.the-reincarnation.com), if your phone use a browser that we can detect then you will be set to use the adjusted portal layout, minimizing among other things the amount of graphics.

As we have just started testing this feature we will need your input to correct bugs or other necessary adjustments. Please use our Game Suggestion or General Bugs forums on the UBB if you have problems or suggestions on how to make your experience with our community from a mobile device.

This "beta" testing will focus on getting the portal and the ubb as functional as possible with mobile devices, even though you could log on to the game servers via the TR.Mobi theme we have not yet started working on making the actual game layout adjusted to mobile devices. The TR.Mobi theme can also be reached using a regular computer browser by adding "?style=8" and vice versa if your mobile device is detected but you want to use the regular theme, then you can add "?style=2". There is also a link from the TR.Mobi theme back to the original theme.

I have installed another theme for mobile use. The new theme is dark on light based on a community suggestion.

The new theme is called TR.STG.Mobi and is now the default theme for mobile visitors. You can also visit the new theme by adding ?style=10 to the portal url. The darker TR.Mobi theme is still available with ?style=8 as before.
